The Shark Of My Dreams

I am in love.  His name is Dirk.  My husband used to kick him off of the bed every night, but now he wearily accepted that this act is futile. Dirk is with us to stay.  I even wrote a story about him, and it was one of the first ones that I published.  If you have a second, please stop by and read it HERE.

  1. That was a fantasticly entertaing and somewhat sad little story. I think it was fabulous, thanks for sharing it with us who didn’t get to read it before.

(I still sleep with teddy bears, so I get the shark thing 🙂

  2. That was lovely, m’dear. Simply lovely, and very much you.

Though, um…I drive a blue Geo Metro. It’s kinda starting to creep me out how these karmic coincidences keep occurring.

    *sigh*

P.S. Don’t even think about making fun of my car. It gets me where I need to go, and it’s paid for. ;P

  3. A really nice story.

I had a teddy bear when I was a boy. Still have it up in the closet, sad little thing that he is. Could never bring myself to get rid of him. I’d have him cleaned, but I’m afraid he’d fall apart at the seams. 🙂
