In Which Ken Covers For Me

Hi again! Finally busted out of the hospital after a week.  Chances are very good that I’ll go right back in, but in the meantime I’m enjoying being at home and not having an IV stuck in my arm. Good spirits, everybody!

Ken, the editor at Shock Totem, called me yesterday.  After promptly hanging up on him (he sounded like a freakin’ weirdo) and after he fired me via text message, we got together and talked. He graciously updated everybody on what’s going on because I don’t have much energy at the moment.  You can see that here.  Also, he directs you to the interview with Jamal W. Hankins.  Who, besides being intelligent and likable, is some eye candy. Especially when he offers up his man card. Better read it and see what I’m talking about.

Thanks for the good wishes, everybody! I appreciate you!

Quick Update On Why I’m MIA! (Greetings From The Hospital)

Hello, my glorious friends! I have missed you like crazy.  Seriously.  I haven’t been seeing you on Twitter or Facebook or in the blogosphere, or anywhere, really.  Since I am currently blessed with sketchy Internet service, I’m going to update everybody very quickly!

My darling twins decided that they want to be born NOW.  This is completely unacceptable, since they’re nine weeks early.  We’ve been in firm negotiations for quite some time now, but I’m finally coming out on top.  Bedrest slowed things down, but I’ve been in the hospital for the last couple of days, trying to teach the kids to respect my authoritah.

As of now, things look good, but it’s kind of touch and go.  I’m sorry for not being in better contact.  I miss my snarky, creative, loving friends!  But I have some great news coming up soon.  The incredibly awesome Jamal W. Hankins interviewed me and it will go up soon.  I’ll link you then.  Also, I have a SUPER SPECIAL ANTHOLOGY ANNOUNCEMENT that makes me want to cry with glee.  That post will also go up soon.  My goal is to get my current manuscript to my agent before the babies are born, but we’ll see how that goes, yeah?  And for your viewing pleasure, you get to see one of the most wonderful and touching youtube videos that I have ever watched.  The talented, gorgeous, and soul of my soul Harley May lost one of our challenges with all of the grace in the world.  End result?  She made me a youtube video with Jazz Hands. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, and I know that you all want to take her home in your pocket.

Annnnnd…I can’t get the video up on here due to Internet restrictions.  Zip off to Harley’s place and fall madly in love.
See you soon, everybody!
