So this was a project I did the other day. With Pretty Little Dead Girls coming out and the other stories in the works, I knew it would be crunch time. Not cooking dinner every night would give me an extra hour of writing time.
I spent five dollars and bought this menu plan. You can put it together yourself, but believe me, the five dollars was worth it.
First I gathered the ingredients. And made my daughter peel potatoes. Bwa ha!
We diced everything up.
And then we bagged the dinners. I ended up with twenty, including things like Italian Chicken, beef roast, pork chops, etc. It’s a heavily meat-based plan, but we eat a lot of veggie soups, so they’ll be great in rotation. I thaw the bag in the fridge overnight, toss it in the crockpot the next morning, and then life is beautiful.
We had one of these for dinner yesterday while I attended the PLDG Facebook release party. Who has time to cook when there’s a celebration to be had? 😀
